Trouble Logging In - Frequently Asked Questions

  1. When I click the Login link in the Home Page, SBBJOnline displays the message "Page cannot be displayed". What should I do?

    This error occurs when your browser version is Internet Explorer 5.0 or below. To access SBBJOnline the minimum requirements are Internet Explorer 5.5 and above or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and above. To upgrade your browsers:

  2. When I attempt to connect to SBBJOnline using www.sbbjonline.com, I get the message, "The operation timed out". What should I do?

    This error occurs when your browser version is Mozilla Firefox 1.0 or below. The minimum requirements to access SBBJOnline are Internet Explorer 5.5 and above or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and above. To upgrade your browsers:

  3. I have Windows 98 with Internet Explorer 6.0 installed in my computer. I still get the "Page cannot be displayed" error when I try to access SBBJOnline. What should I do?

    This error occurs when your browser is not Java enabled. You need to enable the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) in your browser.

    To enable the JVM in Internet Explorer:

    1. Click the [Tools] => [Internet Options] menu in your Internet Explorer window. An Internet Options dialog box is displayed.
    2. Click the [Advanced] tab in the dialog box. A Settings group box displays a list of current browser settings.
    3. Scroll through the list to view the Microsoft VM settings.
    Note: Some systems may have JAVA (SUN) option instead of Microsoft VM.
    1. In the option list displayed under the Microsoft VM settings, select the JIT Compiler for virtual machine enabled option.
    Note: If your system has JAVA (SUN) settings, select the USE JRE 1.(X) option.
    1. Click [Apply]
    2. Click [OK]
    3. Restart your computer to apply the new settings.
